Gurbaksh Chahal | 9 Ways Your Potential is Limitless.
Every bad situation will have something positive. Even a dead clock shows the right time twice a day.
Action is purposeless without the right intention.
Although actions are important in order to reach success, they are pointless without the proper perspective and mindset to fuel them. In order to achieve greatness, you must be able to do everything possible.
Here are 9 components to achieve your personal greatness.
1. Emotions.
If you’re feeling bad, it’s mostly because you’re thinking the wrong thoughts. You’re most likely thinking of what you don’t want or the lack of what you do want.
Allow your emotions to be your compass. Living in the present will ensure a bright flow of happy emotions.
2. Happiness.
You are the only one who can control your thoughts and emotions. Once you realize that, you’ll realize you can feel happy whenever you want to. If you’re feeling down, change your thought process, and happiness will set in.
3. Success.
If you jump out of bed ready for the day, feel inspired, feel motivated, and ready to conquer, you’re on the right track.
You may know something great is around the corner because of some inner feeling you can anticipate. But, you must remember that it is still your responsibility to take inspired action.
This means taking action that feels effortless because it’s something that comes with your excitement. This can be something such as an idea from the shower, or an idea you get while driving to the office.
These signs you get, they point to your success and happiness. Trust your gut feeling with them. They didn’t come out of nowhere, but, treat them as a breakthrough thought.
4. Gratitude.
Remind yourself everyday to be grateful. You will feel much better. If you can achieve the feeling of gratitude, you will see much more positivity coming into your life.
5. Opinions.
There seems to be a very grey area between opinions and facts. You may miss out on your dream because of an opinion you mistake as a fact. We all give ourselves excuses, but the truth is that what people think are facts are simply the opinion of the majority.
6. Success
It’s easy to keep success as a goal in your endeavors. However, it’s also important to remember that sometimes it may not come as fast as you would like. But, just because it didn’t come overnight, doesn’t mean it’s not coming at all.
Remain positive and stick to your beliefs.
7. Negativity
It’s important to be in an atmosphere where negativity is minimal. Keep your distance from negativity as it will affect your own positivity, and your own success.
Don’t associate yourself with people who find doubt within you or bring upon negative vibes. Keep positivity around you, and success will come even quicker.
8. Learning.
If you want to be successful, you can’t learn straight from the textbook. You must have the thirst for knowledge and continue to read to fuel a perpetual state of reading and learning.
Learning should be a part of your daily routine. There is always room to learn something new, whether it’s a current event or a technology.
9. Luck.
As Oprah stated, “luck is simply the combination of preparation and taking action when the timing is right.”
No one is “lucky” when they are achieving success. They had to have done something right prior in order to achieve their success. You can be as lucky as you wish to be.
Don’t worry about other peoples journey. You can control your own luck and success, by creating it.
The only reason the glass is half full, is because you just haven’t poured the rest in it yet.
