Gurbaksh Chahal | Morning Inspiration
Every morning I’ve awoken, I’ve found a new motivation. Whether it’s looking at my calendar looking forward to tackle the day, or whether it’s looking 5 years down and see where I may stand. With these thoughts in the morning, I’ve never had a morning where I feel unmotivated or unready to conquer and disrupt.
There’s many reasons to become motivated. You want to live a life you once dreamed about. You want to inspire others through YOUR work, your words, your actions, and your execution. You want to prove the naysayers wrong. You want to show your family your success as gratitude for all they have done.
Motivation is what makes your day exhilarating. It fires you up, and gets you ready to take on the biggest challenges possible. It’s tough to begin your day without it.
However, there may be some days where motivation doesn’t come as easy. But, that doesn’t mean your day will stay that way. It’s easy to fix that.
Just like brushing your teeth, create a habit to find a new source of motivation every morning. Whether an inspiration blog or song, find something that can ignite your flame. Inspiration is also infectious, so surround yourself others that give you that energy.
If that isn’t up your alley, then there exists other options. Go for a run, do some push-ups, sit-ups, or exercise. It connects your body and mind together to think clearer.
When you check your emails, or your texts in the morning, remember what you’re doing. Remember why you’re doing it. Remember who you’re doing it for. Remember what your dream is, and how this plays in. Remember why you started it all in the first place.
Do this in the morning and I guarantee you’ll never have another dull day in your life. Don’t leave your motivation up to anyone else but you. Don’t leave “inspiration” to chance. Motivation should be a daily practice of yours. Once you have it, your possibilities become endless.
“People will always want to tell you what you should or not to do. No matter if they think you do not have the ability to succeed. The important thing is to have the courage and attitude to make things happen; to leave your name in history and to be one of the people that help make this a better place…the rest does not matter.” -Paulina Acosta
