The Roots of Motivation are Key

The Roots of Motivation are Key

True success goes hand in hand with generosity and willingness to make the world a better place for those near and far. The readiness to share the secrets of one’s own success is no exception: successful entrepreneurs know how to handle these insecurities that sometimes make people feel that their own achievement might be at threat from competition. Gurbaksh Chahal, an established entrepreneur and philanthropist, is a stellar example of a man who has reached the top and who is happy to lend a hand to those who see him as a role model.

Gurbaksh does not make a secret out of his recipe for success. Quite the opposite: his autobiography and his blog are an invaluable source of information and inspiration for impassioned entrepreneurs. With his vast experience in entrepreneurship, Chahal has a lot to offer to anyone who has the ambition and stamina to achieve the highest goals.

Gurbaksh Chahal’s Rise to the Top

Gurbaksh’s journey to success is nothing short of exemplary.

His career began at the age of 16, when the then high school dropout created a company that was sold for millions of dollars only eighteen months later. The future business leader, a son of immigrants from India, revolutionized online advertising: his company ClickAgents was one of the first ad networks concentrated on performance based advertising.

A few years later, in 2004, he jumpstarted his second company, BlueLithium. The company focused on innovative methods of advertising: BlueLithium was among the first to use new and sophisticated data analysis in advertising based on behavioral targeting. For three consecutive years, the company was in the top 100 private companies in the US, and in 2006, BlueLithium was named Innovator of the Year, a title it shares with such giants as Skype and Google. The following year the company was acquired by Yahoo! for three hundred million dollars, making Gurbaksh one of the most successful young entrepreneurs in history.

Chahal proceeded to launch his third company, RadiumOne. The new approach to advertising developed by the company earned Gurbaksh 8 patents and won him the Leaders in Management Award and an Honorary Doctorate degree in Commercial Science from Pace University. Quite an achievement for an entrepreneur at the age of 28!

His unprecedented success story made him a media darling: Gurbaksh Chahal was a hero of multiple publications and television shows, including the Oprah Winfrey Show. Many aspiring entrepreneurs would consider this the top of their career, but for Gurbaksh it was but another step forward. In 2014, he launched his fourth company, RedLotus, promising to yet again bring dramatic change to the industry of online marketing and advertising. RedLotus allows marketers to save millions of dollars through automation across various channels.

The Chahal Foundation

Gurbaksh Chahal’s 32nd birthday on July 17, 2014 was also marked by renaming his non-profit foundation, previously known as BeProud, to The Chahal Foundation. He emphasizes that the new name signals the broader scope of the foundation, that aims to improve educational opportunities in the third world countries, raise awareness of child sex trafficking, support disaster relief efforts and other social causes that help shape a better tomorrow for people across the globe.

It is not surprising that a business leader with such an exemplary track record has a lot to share with thousands and millions of motivated men and women striving to gain success in their field of work. Having accomplished so much as an entrepreneur, Chahal is driven by a goal just as ambitious – to inspire others who are ready to follow his lead.

His autobiography published in 2008 is a good starting point. The book titled “The Dream: How I Learned the Risks and Rewards of Entrepreneurship and Made Millions” follows Gurbaksh Chahal’s journey to success and provides food for thought and insights from a seasoned entrepreneur (who just happened to be only 26 years old).

Gurbaksh also shares his knowledge on his blog “Be Limitless” to help young entrepreneurs pursue their dream. The name of the blog is one of his favorite slogans that reveals a lot about him and his journey, and day after day it continues to inspire millions of individuals on their path to success.

Here are some more favorite quotes from Gurbaksh Chahal.

“Strive for success and happiness, and when you are successful and happy, you will figure out your purpose in life. Like my grandmother used to say to me, “This world was made for you. You were not made as an accessory for this world.”

“When you find the ones who are true to you, regardless of the situation, surround yourself around them. They will tell you when you are wrong and be your anchor of support when you are down. If you’re lucky to have these people in your life, the real truth comes from these – that are honest to you. You may not like what they want to say. But, deep down inside, do ask yourself, ‘what do they have to gain from me?’ If the answer is nothing. Then, listen to them.”

” Success is the best revenge. After being rejected, or not even considered, you may have some feelings of contempt. Prove it for yourself, that professor who deemed you unworthy, a boss who looks at you as inferior or your family member you can’t satisfy, that they were wrong. Strive for success and happiness, and when you are successful and happy, it will be worth every bit of agony to have gotten you there.”

“Don’t give up when you hear the word “no.” As they say, no one remembers the losers. They only remember the winners. And, sometimes success may be right around the corner – just a step away from when you’re about to quit.”
