We all have choices in our lives. Sometimes, we calculate them. Sometimes, we ponder them. Sometimes, we dwell on them. But, there is a mysterious inner you that sometimes just does something because its reacting to some form of cosmic energy inside of you.
When you look back at life and look at some of the biggest moments you’ve had. You’ll realize you didn’t calculate, ponder, or dwell on them. You just listened to your intuition and reacted.
I look at my life as a series of intuitions. I took some big risks, some big bets throughout my journey. And, the ones that worked, the ones that were life changing – I reacted, because I wasn’t given a choice. Intuition is a one-way street.
Some call it gut. But, we are complicated creatures. We have a brain that thinks intelligence, we have a heart that feels emotion, but our intuition only reacts. That inexplicable feeling you get sometimes—well, it tends to be right a lot more often than it is wrong. Try not to overanalyze it. Some mysterious Inner You is trying to help you by pointing you in the right direction. Don’t fight it.
I dropped out of high school at the age of 16 to start my first Company – something I never imagined I would ever do as a child. But, some cosmic energy inside of me said, “take that risk, it’s all going to work out.” I started my next company at 21. And, I continued my entrepreneurial intuition by starting my fourth technology company on my 32nd Birthday. These were big bold steps in my life. Failure wasn’t an option and fear wasn’t part of any emotion. My intuition didn’t consume itself with it – it only reacted with only one choice. To do what I was destined for.
When allowed to express itself freely, unbridled, the ‘inner voice’ can act as a compass, pointing to the most apt direction. Fear and self-doubt are never found in that direction.
So if you have any big decisions to make, I only have one piece of advice for you. Don’t calculate them, don’t ponder them, and don’t dwell on them. Listen to yourself. Listen to that voice. It will guide you with the answers. Never question it, just react. Just do.
It will lead you to your destiny.
